The newborn phase is a doozy. The way I deal with it? My Newborn Three. A predictable timetable where I lose and regain my sanity over the period of 12 weeks as follows: Absolute Mania (weeks 0-2), Depths of Despair (weeks 3-7), and Battered Hope (weeks 8-12).
